Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to attend EAPPC & BEAMS 2018, the 7th Euro-Asian Pulsed Power Conference (EAPPC) andthe22nd International Conference on High-Power Particle Beams (BEAMS), which will be held in Changsha, China, from 16th to 20th September, 2018.

The joint conference will provide a forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information between industry, academic institutions and research organizations, across a broad range of current and emerging research areas of Pulsed Power Technologies and High Power Particle Beams. As for the conference, 352 abstracts have been received from 17 different countries. The scientific program includes 6 plenary talks, given by worldwide-recognized scientists, 14 invited talks,164 oral talks in 24 parallel sessions,and174 posters in 12 parallel sessions. On behalf of the local organization committee, I would like to express our appreciation to the international organization committee members, the international technical committee members and all attendees.

The place where the joint conference will take place, Changsha, is the capital city of Hunan Province and is the cradle of the ancient Chu and Xiang civilizations rooted in central China. She is well known for her long history of over 3000 years and is the hometown of many great figures in both ancient and modern history of China. Among them there is the founder of new China, Chairman Mao. The city is also rich in both cultural, natural tourist resources and impressive for spicy food.
