It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine if a visa is required to enter the People’s Republic of China. Helpful resources should be available on the website of the Chinese Embassy in your country. If you determine a visa is required to attend the conference, you are strongly urged to start the process from your home country as soon as possible. Significant delays are possible when processing visas from some countries.
The local committee is being as proactive as possible with providing visa invitation letters to foreign attendees.
- Send your requirement of invitation letter to the Conference local committee, clarifying the purpose of academic exchanging, exhibition, companion, et al.
- A curriculum vitae in English (with the telephone number at your working place included) and a copy of the first page of your passport is required for facilitatingthe invitation letter and visa application.
- The official invitation letter will be prepared by our university’s foreign affairs office, and it takes about two weeks.
